8 Days lodge safari serengeti national park

Unlike camping safari the 8 Days lodge safari in Tanzania will offer you comfort in safari lodges inside the Tanzania national parks or at the outskirts providing the level of comfort to be higher compared to spending overnights in public budget Tanzania camping. As you travel around the northern Tanzania 8 days will cover 5 famous safari parks including Serengeti national park, Ngorongoro and its crater, Tarangire national parks, Lake Manyara and Arusha national parks.

Day 1: Arrival – drive to Arusha. 8 Days lodge safari.

You will be met in the airport by our guide upon your arrival and drive 45 minutes to Arusha via.
Accommodation: Impala Hotel.
Meals: Dinner included – Depending on your arrival time.

Day 2: Tarangire national park.

After breakfast drive 2 hours to Tarangire national park, enter the park for game drive until time for lunch time, have lunch at picnic site then proceed with game drive until late evening when you will drive to the lodge for overnight.

Day 3: Tarangire national park.

Morning tour in Tarangire national park allowing good time for morning animals viewing which hide themselves from the sun. Tarangire is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals, predators and the prey’s alike gather around the river for the water outlet where you will do excellent game viewing.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti.

Early morning after breakfast, descent into Ngorongoro crater for game drive, picnic lunch inside the crater at Ngoitoktok hippo pool where you will see hippopotamus while enjoying your lunch, because of the permanent water sources and green pastures, most grazing animals do not migrate in and out of the crater thus increasing the chance of seeing many animals including Elephants, lion, leopard, zebra, wildebeest and rare black Rhino just to name few. Late in the afternoon drive out of the Ngorongoro Crater rim and drive 2 hours to Serengeti for overnight.

Day 5: Serengeti National park.

After an early breakfast leave for full day game drive to Serengeti national park with lunch boxes which will be served at the picnic site. After lunch proceed with late afternoon and evening game drives until sunset when you will drive to the lodge for overnight. This will be a picture day where you will see thousands of wildebeest dotted by Zebras and antelopes.

Day 6: Serengeti national park – Lake Manyara.

Early morning breakfast then start half day games drive in Serengeti National Park until time for lunch. After picnic lunch you will proceed with en-route game drive as you drive to Lake Manyara national park.
Accommodation: Eileen’s Tree Lodge.
Meals: Full Board.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park -Arusha.

After breakfast drive 40 minutes to Lake Manyara National Park games drive with lunch boxes, late in the afternoon around 03:30 – 04:00pm drive 2 hours direct to Arusha for overnight.

Day 8: Departure.

Transfer on time to airport for your flight to next destination or back home.
